The Clarence River, Iluka event will be going ahead as scheduled, and there have been some big fish caught too.

It will be run from the beach in front of Steges Reef Hotel Iluka. (adjacent to Iluka Boat Harbour).

The time schedule will be as follows:
All events are run on NSW DST
Sign On Starts 5:30am
Briefing: 6:15am
Session: 6:30am - 1:30pm Weigh in: 1:30pm
The start will be a random draw, as per the Tweed Heads Round.

At the weigh in each competitor will be given a meal ticket, which entitles them to a hamburger, fish and chips or a giant sausage sandwich + a soft drink from the bar.

This will be a great event even if the water is not that great there are still fish being caught and yesterday they held the national ski championships and there was no problems with logs etc in the river.
