The time schedule will be as follows:
All events are run on NSW DST
Sign On Starts 5:15am
Briefing: 6:00am
Session: 6:15am - 1:15pm Weigh in: 1:30pm
Starting will be randomly drawn during safety checks.

This year we are trying something new, like the big event at the Tinny and Tackle show or the QLD boat show, we are going to run a event during the Ballina River Festival. To do this we need to adjust a few things like the weight-in technique, we will be only weighing in the full bags on the tank stage. All fish will be released into the Reef Science Tank.

For the weigh-in we will have a mooring system in the river for all boats and a ferrying arrangement to bring people and bags into the jetty. The boats will be secured and wont be a problem to leave your boat on the water while walking around the event and watching the band comp or playing with the kids in the park (I know I will have to keep Adrian out of the kids rides to do some work).

We only have around 1 hour for the stage, because it is the main area of the park where the tank is located. It should be a good event for everyone with the public there to cheer everyone on and lots of thing happening for the fisherman during the weigh-in and after.

We will have arranged food and drinks for the competitors so have a feed and hang around, there is a band comp on the other end of the park after the weigh-in for your groupies out there.

Dont forget to hang around for the random prize giveaways worth your entry fee back just for hanging around for the presentations.
