This year sees the Gamakatsu Teams Series (GTS) expand their event to new waters due to its popularity last year. We will be running events at the Gold Coast to make a total of 5 events that can qualify you for the Gamakatsu Teams Series Grand Final.
Thanks right, just by fishing the GTS events, the top 10 qualify at each event ending up with the top 50 anglers of the series to compete for the largest teams event cash prize in Australia with entry under $250. They will have a chance to compete for $6,500 in cash for 1st place with 2nd and 3rd also getting good returns. So for the Grand Final entry of $230 first place get return on investment of 2,750%, not a bad investment to have some fun.
With that sort of cash on offer on top of the standard prizes each round, that's right the prize packs are still available in each round as well as the random giveaway packs. With all these prizes on offer, why not give it a go, look at the Team of the Series last year, they had never competed in a tournament before and walked away with over $2000 worth of cash and prizes without winning a event! You don't need ot beat the best to win!
Also next year keep your eye out as there is some talk for running snapper comps, this is just a discussion but please let us know if you might be keen for one in Mortan Bay.

* 26th October - Clarence River, Illuka Pub
* 30th November - Richmond River, Ballina (In conjunction with Ballina River Fest, with tank etc for weigh-in.)
* 18th January - Gold Coast, Paradise Point
* 1st March - Gold Coast, Anzac Park
* 15th March - Tweed River, Jack Evans Harbour
* 4th - 5th April - $6,500 GRAND FINAL, Ballina, NSW
